Business Management Programme

Hello friends, my name is Elif Koçak and I am a second-year student on the Ufuk University Business Management Programme. I will now give you some information about my associate degree programme. Our programme educates people to meet the global and national needs of enterprises and it is located on the Gölbaşı, İncek Campus. In our programme, courses necessitated by the school curriculum are provided—we usually have courses in administration that are required by businesses. For example, finance, accounting and law. Usually we take the Computer Technologies and Accounting courses in the laboratories. We actively use the computers in the labs. The internship in our programme is also optional. Students choose to do an internship if they wish, or they may prepare projects instead. With this advantage, students have the opportunity to develop themselves in the field they feel most connected to. When we graduate from this programme, we have the opportunity to work in private and in public institutions. Examples of these are working in free financial consulting offices, in marketing, and in finance. I chose this programme because it covers all of my interests, and because it directly trains staff. I chose Ufuk University because it is in the city in which I live and it is a reasonable distance away from the centre. Our school offers many opportunities. It has a library and study rooms. However, the services I used the most are the academics—I have really benefited from the knowledge of our lecturers. As we have the opportunity to have one-to-one interaction with the teachers, I can get the answer to all my questions concerning the lessons. After graduation, I will prepare for the Vertical Transfer Exam and I would like to continue my educational career with a 4-year department. I recommend the Business Management Programme to people who want to really improve themselves in intermediary areas of business life. I wish success to those friends who taking the university exam.
