Hello, Professor Mustafa Polat. I am the Head of Business Administration Department at OSTİM Technical University. In today's competitive business world, world-class entrepreneurs and leaders are needed to operate in this competitive environment. The department that will meet the need for these leaders and managers is business. With this belief, in the Department of Business Administration at OSTİM Technical University; We are planning to graduate students who will be successful in a world-class competitive environment, aiming for the future, working with innovation-centered, high entrepreneurial skills. Our students will have an initiative report in our department. Thanks to this entrepreneurship report card, our students will make progress in various subjects in their activities related to entrepreneurship throughout their education life. Entrepreneurship scorecard will be supported through training programs such as workplace training and internship. At the end of the process, it will be ensured that our students become an innovative, qualified manager and employee candidate with high entrepreneurial skills in the business environment. I would like to express that in our department, we will be together in an educational environment where students can act as a community while focusing on their individual goals. In OSTİM Technical University, Department of Business Administration, common courses are generally taught in the 1st and 2nd grades. In this framework, in the program; Students take courses such as Introduction to University Life, Introduction to Business Management and Introduction to Management. Starting from the 3rd grade, but especially in the 4th grade, our students concentrate on the fields they choose within the scope of elective courses. In this context, students will be able to develop their expertise in these fields by taking advantage of the course options offered to them in subjects such as finance, accounting, banking, and business management. In the Department of Business Administration, our students will both take courses within the scope of workplace experience and will have the opportunity to do their internship in the enterprises operating in the OSTİM region as part of the internship program in the 4th grade. In particular, they will be able to carry out internship activities in the companies that they have chosen in both terms in the 4th year. If they cannot choose, it will be recommended to them by our department. Within the scope of the graduation project, they will be able to graduate from the department by presenting their projects related to the subjects they have in-depth knowledge in the fields they have chosen. Business Administration students can benefit from the Erasmus exchange program in the designated countries from the second year after taking the first year courses. In this context, they will have the chance to spend a part of their education life in the relevant country and to experience business programs in different countries. Our faculty members and students in the Department of Business Administration will have the opportunity to participate in national and international conferences, congresses and symposiums such as management, organization, business administration and family business. In addition, our students can participate in science festivals and symposiums that are frequently organized in our university. Business departments train managers and entrepreneurs all over the world. In this context, OSTİM Technical University Department of Business Administration students will have the ability and infrastructure to establish their own workplaces. Our students who want to take part in public sectors in positions such as district governor, administrative judiciary judge, and supervisory staff can do so after being successful in the required exams. Our students who want to work in companies in the private sector will be able to work in departments such as human resources, finance, accounting, R&D (Research and Development). In addition, our students who want to work in non-governmental organizations will be able to work in the management or staff of the relevant non-governmental organization according to their abilities and interests. I would like to express that we will be happy to be with you at OSTİM Technical University and our Department of Business Administration. As our students, if you want to be an innovative, entrepreneurial individual, manager and business owner who produces worldwide at the end of the education process; The Department of Business Administration will provide you with the necessary support and infrastructure in this regard. Our university is located at the center of the OSTİM ecosystem. In this context, our university is located in the OSTİM Industrial Zone, where all kinds of accommodation, transportation and dormitory facilities are available.
