I am Bakhtiyar Najafov. I work as a manager in the International Relations Office at Ostim Technical University. At the same time, I work as a lecturer in the Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Technology department. Our international students can study in Turkish and English according to the program they enrolled in after the registration process is completed. If their program is in Turkish, they must have a TÖMER (Turkish and Foreign Language Application and Research Center) language proficiency certificate. Students who do not have a TÖMER certificate are required to take the Turkish language proficiency exam held by our university. Students who are successful in the Turkish language proficiency exam start their first year, while students who are not successful must enroll in the Turkish preparatory class and continue their education for 1 year in the Turkish preparatory class. Students enrolled in the English program are required to have an English language certificate obtained from internationally recognized exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, ÜDS (Inter-University Board Foreign Language Exam). If our students do not have a language score from one of these exams, they must take the English language proficiency exam conducted by our university. Our students who are successful in the English language proficiency exam start their first year. Unsuccessful students are required to attend a compulsory English preparatory class for 1 year. Our university has registered to the Erasmus program this year. Now our university is one of the official partners of Erasmus for 5 years. As of this year, 30 of our students will benefit from the international exchange program. 20 of our students will be able to benefit from the Erasmus internship program. With the Erasmus program, they will contribute to themselves and our university by studying in certain countries of Europe for a period of time. As the International Relations Directorate, we provide all kinds of assistance to our students in this regard. We send our successful students to universities in Europe or Asia within the scope of Erasmus agreement. Our internship application works the same way. We also send our students to internships in their fields to European countries. In our university, students are admitted to graduate programs as well as undergraduate programs. We also have programs that we have developed especially for our international students. We can classify our master's programs as thesis, non-thesis and distance education programs. In our distance education program, our students can complete their education completely in their own country, provided that they are at our university during the registration process. Thus, they will have an international diploma. Apart from this, we have master's programs with thesis. Students who want to study in these programs can receive education in our university in the form of face-to-face education. Our graduate programs differ from those of other universities. Our students who study in our master's program at our university spend almost all of their education in companies, factories and industry in their fields. For example, a student of ours is continuing his master's degree program in the department of electrical and electronics. That student will receive almost all of his education from the real instructors of this business in the industrial zone related to his field. The score he will get at the end is determined by the owner of the company he works for and by the professor of our university. International students can study at our university for a certain fee. We also provide scholarship opportunities to our international students. These students can receive education at our university with 80-85% and 100% full scholarships. There is an Ostim Technical University YÖS (Foreign Student Examination) scholarship exam, which we do every year in 10 different countries and also at our university. We provide 100% scholarship to the best students who pass this scholarship exam. Ostim Technical University is a university located in the Ostim Organized Industrial Zone, which is the largest organized industrial zone in Ankara, and has an industrial campus. Our campus area is industry. Our engineers see real business life in front of them as soon as they step out of the classroom. As you know, Ankara is the capital of Turkey. Ankara is a student city. It is a city where Turkey's best universities are located. Living conditions are more suitable when compared to other cities. It is a city where our students can live comfortably. We show all kinds of support to our international students regarding their accommodation and dormitory facilities. Since our university is a two-minute walk from the metro, they are in a location where they can easily reach all parts of the city. Our students can reach the university very easily when they find the opportunity to live in any part of the city they want. Our university is in the process of signing a contract with the UK's Coventry University for a double degree program. After the contract is completed, our students who study at our university will have the diploma of Coventry University in England as well as the diploma of Ostim Technical University. In addition, we have training programs such as Aerospace Engineering at our university. In addition to these training programs, our students can also receive piloting training. Students of our university can have a pilot license, provided that they take the first part of the pilot training in America and the second part in Turkey.
