Yozgat Bozok University Bilal Şahin Faculty of Theology was established in 2010. Student admission to Yozgat Bozok University Faculty of Theology started in 2012. Yozgat Bilal Şahin Faculty of Theology is a faculty subject to the curriculum of theology faculties.
In our faculty, besides the basic Islamic sciences courses, tawsir, hadith, Islamic law, theology, history of sects, Sufism, Quran and Arabic education courses are among the basic courses. There are also courses on Islamic history and arts; siyar, Islamic history, Turkish Islamic Literature, History of Turkish Islamic Arts, and Turkish Language Music. In addition to all these courses, we have courses in the philosophy and religious sciences departments. These include courses such as religious education, philosophy of religion, philosophy of Islam, sociology of religion, psychology of religion, and logic.
The education opportunities of our faculty abroad are limited to the education opportunities offered by our university. I wish we had the opportunity to send our students to other countries in terms of education, especially in terms of Arabic education, such as Jordan and Egypt, but we do not have any international programmes other than the ERASMUS programme.
In the Arabic preparatory class we gave here, we continue our Arabic lessons in the first, second, third and fourth grades as well. Therefore, in this respect, we endeavour to provide opportunities for our students to improve themselves within the framework of the facilities of our faculty. We have student clubs in our faculty in order to ensure that our students grow up better equipped and with the aim of educating our students with activities other than the lessons.
Our student clubs carry out very intensive activities. Through these student clubs, we organise conferences and seminars by inviting academicians and professors who are doyen in the field of theology from time to time to meet with our students and to increase the knowledge, manners and experiences of our students. We also do this intensively.
During the pandemic process, we did this intensively online. After the pandemic, we did this again by inviting our professors to our faculty. In addition, we work in cooperation with the career centre of our university in an organised manner, and we make great contributions to our students in this direction. For example, in the past years, we invited a marbling artist to our faculty and university and gave a very nice conference on the art of marbling and opened an exhibition. In this way, we endeavour to bring our students together with our doyen professors and academicians. In addition, we encourage our students to the activities we have carried out through BOSUYEM (Bozok University Continuing Education Centre) provided by our university. For example, for senior students, whether it is KPSS (Public Personnel Selection Examination) or ALES (Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Examination) courses, we direct our students to these courses. We also ensure the participation of our students in other events and activities organised through BOSUYEM. We have such an opportunity; As Yozgat Bozok University Bilal Şahin Faculty of Theology, the ErdoğanAkdağ Culture and Congress Centre Hall, which is the brain of our university, that is, where all the activities of our university are carried out, is 100 metres away from our faculty, it is very close to us.
Therefore, all scientific activities and all other activities of our university are carried out here. We also have important incentives for our students to educate themselves by participating in the cultural activities organised here in their free time. With the awareness and consciousness of this, we are making great efforts to ensure that our students are better equipped and not far away from the realities of the world and are aware of other activities related to Turkish culture and Islamic culture.

Our students who graduate from Yozgat Bozok University Bilal Şahin Faculty of Theology can work in the first place in the Ministry of National Education. Another job field is the Presidency of Religious Affairs. A different field of work is other official institutions and organisations. At the same time, our successful students can become academicians. Because, in Yozgat Bozok University Bilal Şahin Faculty of Theology, we have both master and doctorate programmes in basic Islamic sciences. In addition, there is also a master's degree in our Islamic history and arts department. We have master's degree students. Again, in philosophy and religious sciences, God willing, we have the opportunity to open a master's programme in philosophy and religious sciences in the autumn term of the next 2023-2024 academic year. Therefore, job opportunities for our students graduating from our Faculty of Theology are quite high.

Our education and training staff is increasing, developing and expanding day by day.
