Mechanical Engineering

Hello, I'm İrem Göktaş. I am a senior student at Pamukkale University, Department of Mechanical Engineering. Mechanical Engineering department is one of the first departments founded in our Engineering Faculty, which was established in 1976. Our university has been continuing to provide a successful education to train expert engineers for 46 years. Our courses are mainly advanced in mechanics. Sufficient knowledge can be obtained in other branches as well. Practical support is provided in workshops and laboratories. We have many laboratories in the fields of Thermodynamics, machine dynamics and fluid mechanics. With the support of our teaching staff, we have the opportunity to work here. Our internships are divided into two groups as vocational internship and basic internship. These internships offer the opportunity to work in industry and factories for 25 days each, and we usually do our internships here. Graduation projects are generally designed as and presented in the form of a thesis. Since the Department of Mechanical Engineering is one of the most comprehensive and basic engineering branches, we can find the opportunity to work in almost every field. Generally, we can work in sectors such as aviation and automotive. I chose this department because the existence of experienced and successful academic staff of Pamukkale University. I think our university is successful. Pamukkale University is very convenient and advantageous for students in terms of social and economic aspects. The campus of the university also benefits students. Our department has many student communities with social opportunities. By participating in these, we get opportunities to develop ourselves in a fun and successful way. My post-graduation goal is to take part in the aviation industry because of my general interest in aviation and I believe I can be successful in this field. I would like you to know that we have an academic staff who has achieved great success in our university. If you want to work in a school with all kinds of social facilities and a great campus, with the support of successful teaching staff, you can choose this place.
