School of Nursing

Hello. My name is Raif Emre Tiryaki and I am a fourth-year student at Ufuk University, in the School of Nursing. The School of Nursing is located in Balgat Campus in the centre of Ankara. We are placed through the central exam by the Assessment Selection and Placement Center. We are placed through the central exam by the Assessment Selection and Placement Center. There is a laboratory in almost all of the courses given in our department. These include the Internal Diseases Laboratory and the Surgical Diseases Laboratories. An instructor and a training nurse train us in each laboratory. At the end of the training, we make applications on dummies together with all our friends. We start our internships in the first year and we carry them out at Ufuk University Faculty of Medicine at Dr. Rıdvan Ege Hospital. In the following years, we also have internships in various places including private and public hospitals. Having internships in various places provides us with a variety of different experiences. After graduating from our department, we can work as a nurse, an education nurse, a research nurse and a private branch nurse in public and private hospitals. If we consider an academic career in our profession, we can continue graduate education at other universities or in this university. The reason I chose this department is that I love people and want to be useful to humanity in a scientific framework. Since Ufuk University has a qualified academic staff and has proven itself in the field of health, I have chosen to study at this university. The facilities offered by our university are: our Labs, the 24/7 open library, various societies and the qualified instructors. I benefit from all these facilities. After graduation, I want to train qualified nurses in Turkey by completing my graduate studies in the health field as an academician.
