Health Administration

Hello, my name is Büşra Akman. I am a 4th year student at Health Sciences University, Gülhane Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Health Administration. Gülhane Faculty of Health Sciences Health Administration Department was opened in 2017 and started to accept its first students in the 2018-2019 academic year. Our department provides education and training services with its strong and experienced academic staff. The aim of our department is to train leaders in the field of health. The courses of our department start from the basic level and consist of courses with increasing difficulty and scope. In addition to management field courses such as Management and Organization, Law, Economics, Marketing, Strategic Management, Quality Management, it also covers health field courses such as Medical Terminology, Epidemiology, Health Communication. In addition to undergraduate education, our department also offers graduate and doctoral degrees. In our faculty, we have computer laboratories to take courses such as Information and Communication Technology courses. In our department, we have practical training in the spring term of the 4th grade to get familiar with the field applications of the comprehensive training we received at school and to gain work experience. After graduation, we can work in public and private sector hospitals, in the medical device and pharmaceutical sector, in various health care institutions such as health tourism, and our graduates can achieve their goals in the academic field with master's and doctoral programs. The field of health is a multidisciplinary field and I chose the Department of Health Administration to manage the processes in this field, to have a good command of the operation, and to shape the future with the existing resources and knowledge. I chose the University of Health Sciences because it gathers all disciplines in the field of health under a single roof, it has strong teaching staff, it offers comprehensive education opportunities, domestic and international education opportunities, and its campus is in a central location. After graduation, I want to improve myself in the field of health administration and pursue a master's degree and doctorate and take part in academic life. I recommend the candidates who are interested in this field to choose the Health Administration Department of Gülhane Faculty of Health Sciences, which trains the leading managers of the future.
