Department of Business Administration

Hello, I am Ayşenur İrem Hastürk and I am a third-year student at Ufuk University and the Department of Business Administration. It opened in 2002-2003 and its first graduates in 2006. The aim here at Ufuk University is to train individuals who plan to work in national and international enterprises. At Ufuk University, our first two-year courses— such as management-organization, human resources and accounting—are a little extraneous to our branch courses, however we have vocational courses divided over four years. We also have elective courses and have the option to choose these courses as we wish. We have computer labs at Ufuk University. We have an Entrepreneurship Certificate Programme in cooperation with The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization. This entrepreneurship course is taken in the second year, in the Department of Business Administration. Students who successfully graduate from this department are entitled to receive an Entrepreneurship Certificate. Upon receipt of this certificate, they are allowed to open a business when they graduate from the school, and The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization grants them credit. A main reason I chose Ufuk University is because there are many research assistants here. The fact that there are many research assistants gives the following advantage to us—we can ask our teachers questions and solve any issues we may have. This is one of the main reasons I have chosen this place. Frankly, I really benefit from our teachers. I go and ask them questions at the end of lessons or ask them what steps to take in the future. I this way, our teachers and the library has assisted me greatly. After graduating from the Department of Business Administration, I want to advance academically. I can say the following to those Ufuk University candidates considering study in Business Administration: Come to Ufuk University really taking into consideration there are plenty of advisors here. Of course, it is crucial that our teachers are highly skilled. After graduating from here, we really graduate knowing everything we need and we have a lot of employment opportunities. Therefore, even though the Department of Business Administration is a very popular department, are employment options are broad. This is why I suggest that you come here.
