Department of Communication Design and Management

Hello, my name is Ali Uzay Odabaş. I am a senior student at Eskişehir Anadolu University, Faculty of Communication Sciences, Department of Communication Design and Management. At the same time, I am a 2nd year student at Anadolu University Open Education Faculty, Department of Public Relations and Publicity. I am a young communicator who has aspirations and enthusiasm for the future. I have completed 4 voluntary internships so far. Communication Design and Management Department is one of the 4 departments of the Faculty of Communication Sciences located in Yunus Emre Campus, which is the main campus. Our department, which aims to educate qualified students in all theoretical and environmental communication fields with its qualified academic staff, also points to the problem of communication design in the communication sector. In our department, in addition to theoretical courses such as Communication Theories, Communication Philosophy, and Management Science, there are also applied courses such as Web Design, Graphic Design, Radio Program Design. The applied courses we mentioned are taught in the computer laboratories of our school. Students who provide the documents previously determined by the internship commission within the body of our school can do internships anywhere they wish, as insured as a part of voluntary internship. Also, passing the Project Development and Project Management courses is one of the graduation requirements. Students make and develop various projects in the fields of career, education, social awareness, in short, in every field of communication. Together with my 6 friends, we focused on one of the biggest problems of our country and realized a project on internship. After graduating from our department, we have the opportunity to work wherever there is social communication, such as traditional and digital media agencies, human resources offices, communication consultancy companies; in short in any field where we can develop and improve communication. I have always wanted to be in the media sector since my childhood, as a result of the professional research I have done in my high school years, I thought that studying at the faculty of communication sciences would be the right choice for me and thus chose the Department of Communication Design and Management. There are many reasons to choose Anadolu University, located in Eskişehir, one of the most modern and safest cities in Turkey. I chose Anadolu University to study at a real campus university, to discover myself fully and to take part in and even organize hundreds of events held throughout the year. I would very much like to use the experience I have gained in the internships I have done after graduation, the courses I have taken from my teachers and the experiences I have gained from student clubs, to work in a national television channel and to present a television program. While I continue to work having this goal in mind, I also want to find a financier for my internship within the scope of the graduation project and make it a well-known start-up company in Turkey. If you want to study at a real campus university, acquire academic knowledge and make good friends with its expert teaching staff, I invite you all to Eskişehir, one of the most modern and beautiful cities of Turkey, and our beautiful school, Anadolu University.
