Faculty of Law

Hello, I'm Muhammed Ali Yorulmaz. I am a senior student at the Faculty of Law in Social Sciences University of Ankara, Northern Cyprus Academic Unit. In the Faculty of Law, courses on public and private law are given. There are courses such as Constitutional Law, Civil Law, Property Law, European Union Law, and General Public Law. There is no laboratory in our department. However, there is a library to access resources related to the courses. There is no compulsory internship program in our department. After graduating from the department, we can work as lawyers in public and private institutions, also we can be prosecutors, judges, or notary officers. The reason why I chose the Faculty of Law is that I think law is in every moment of our lives. Furthermore, I study law because I think it is the most effective way to help people. The reason why I chose Social Sciences University of Ankara Northern Cyprus Academic Unit is to become a qualified lawyer and to benefit from the university's safe environment. While studying at our department, we can communicate directly with the academic staff. We can use the library of our school whenever we want. In addition to these, our university provides great convenience to its students in terms of transportation. After graduating from my department, I want to be a public prosecutor by taking the judicial exam. The candidates who will apply to this department should really be interested in law. In addition, I recommend candidates to do research on law. I wish success to all students who will take the university exam.
