Electrical Electronics Engineering

Hello, I'm Ahmet Semih Mutlu. I am a 3rd year student at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Bandirma Onyedi Eylul University. The aim of the department is to train electrical and electronic engineers who have knowledge on issues such as electricity generation, transmission, and distribution, engineers who can take part in the development of electronic systems and such project studies. The department was established in 2017, it is located on the central campus. We take mostly math and physics in the first grade. Starting from the 2nd grade, we take specialized courses like Electronics, Circuit Analysis, Digital Logic Circuits, Communication, Microprocessors, and Electronic Machines. There are 5 laboratories in the department. Our laboratories, which are designed according to our department courses, help us apply what we have learned in theoretical courses. In order for us to graduate from the department, we have a total of 40 days of summer internship, 20 working days at the end of the 2nd grade and 20 working days at the end of the 3rd grade. When we come to the last year, a graduation project is required. In this project, we are asked to do a project on any subject, using the knowledge we have learned in 4 years. After completing these projects, we can graduate from the department. We can find many job opportunities after graduation. We can work in the Automotive Industry, the Defense Industry, the Telecommunications Industry, and various public institutions. The reason why I chose the department is my interest in electronics since my childhood. We access and use the internet, but I always wondered how it does it. I was always curious about the inner workings of instruments.
The reason why I chose Bandirma Onyedi Eylul University is that when the results were announced, I listed the universities where I could enroll in this department. When I started to research Bandirma Onyedi Eylul University, I saw that it was a new, dynamic university with high goals. I have chosen this university because I think that I can help them with their goals. My valuable lecturers are among the resources that I use the most while studying in this department. They are as willing to teach as we are eager to learn. The second is our laboratories. Another factor is that when we have questions, we the senior students try to solve our problems in a very sincere and loving way. We also take care to treat those who come after us as we were treated. After graduation, I want to work in leading defense industry companies. Candidates have to ask themselves if they would like such a job. If you are positive, you can choose this department. Before attending, I can recommend you to improve your language skills. Also you can start working on any programming language. I wish good luck to the candidates who will take the university exam.
