String Instruments
My name is Musa Eren İşkodralı. I am a faculty member of Trakya University State Conservatory, String Instruments Main Art Branch, Cello Art Branch. The String Instruments Department consists of 4 branches of art: Violin, Viola, Cello and Double Bass. The establishment purpose of our institution was to provide musicians to contribute to the arts scene of Thrace region and the Balkans for the benefit of people. In our institution, we provide branch courses such as Solfeggio, Harmony, Form Knowledge, Music History and Basic Education curriculum courses. In this process, our students and teaching staff share and reinforce their existing knowledge with our guest artists. We regularly organize events on behalf of our students in each academic year. Within the framework of these activities, our expert teaching staff guides our students on how to play on stage. At the end of the program, before they graduate, our students exhibit their skills and perform for a recital, and if they are successful after this performance, they graduate. We send our students abroad with exchange programs such as Erasmus and Mevlana within the scope of education and training framework. In the universities we have contracted with, our students receive their education abroad for 1 or 2 semesters and return to our institution again. We regularly participate in events where our teachers and students working in the conservatories of the Mediterranean countries come together every year. Students, who have successfully completed the graduation program, can work in any place focusing on performing arts. For example, they can work as music teachers in State Symphony Orchestras, State Opera and Ballet, Conservatory and state institutions. At the same time, they can work in the private sector in pop music, jazz music, arrangement, soundtrack production and similar derivatives and composition. First of all, I’d like to say this to the students who want to choose our institution. They must certainly have training. Students who have practiced what they have been taught, should continue their studies in accordance with the curriculum and develop their skills as much as possible. For this, there is a need for practice and study as much as possible. Trakya University provides many opportunities for students who will come from outside Edirne. The most important of these are accommodation, food and on-campus activities. Trakya University and State Conservatory, which continues to develop itself day by day, continues its activities and studies. We are waiting for you, the new young talents and students who are eager to learn here..
