Hello, I'm Aslinur Elvan. I'm 22 years old. I am a student of Anadolu University, Faculty of Law and I live in Eskişehir. Our faculty was established in Eskişehir in 1993 and is located in one of the most beautiful spots of Yunus Emre Campus. The aim of our faculty is to train qualified individuals who can practice all kinds of legal professions after their graduation. In our faculty, all the necessary basic courses are given in the fields of private and public law. In addition, a wide range of vocational elective courses are offered to students who want to work in more specialized fields after their graduation. There is a large computer laboratory in our faculty available to students. In addition, we have a courtroom where students can act as lawyers, judges and prosecutors during the resolution of hypothetical disputes and act out these cases. Students continuing their education in our faculty can do internships in order to gain experience with lawyers during the summer if they wish. In addition, our students who complete their 1-year compulsory internship after graduation serve as lawyers, while our students who successfully pass the judgeship and prosecutor's office exams and complete their 2-year compulsory internship can serve as judges or prosecutors. After completing their compulsory internship, students who graduate from our faculty can basically practice their professions as lawyers, judges and prosecutors. In addition, there are opportunities to work in many fields such as mediation, legal consultancy, academics and notary. I chose this faculty in order to adopt the rules of law that are included in many areas of life and to take part in the resolution of legal disputes at every stage and thus to serve the purpose of ensuring justice. Eskişehir is very suitable for a good student life with its many social and cultural opportunities. In addition, our faculty and university also support students in their new life as individuals with the social and cultural opportunities they offer. In addition, our faculty, with its deep-rooted history and strong academic staff, provides the most suitable environment for the academic development of students. After my graduation, I want to pursue graduate education and become a research assistant in the field of public law. In this process, I plan to fulfill my duty as a law faculty graduate who has a share in the development of legal doctrine both by sharing information with students and by researching. I advise students who plan to choose a law faculty not to have any hesitation about choosing our university for all the reasons I have mentioned. Do not forget that university life is a very important period in individuals’ lives, not only in terms of academic development, but also in terms of social and cultural development. All the opportunities of our city and our university provide a good student life for you.
