Department of Logistics Management

Hello, I'm Instructor Celil DURDAĞ. I am the Head of the Logistics Management Department of the Faculty of Business Administration and Management at Istanbul Esenyurt University. Logistics management department provides a 4-year program. It basically aims to train logistics professionals. Logistics professionals are equipped to work in both the public sector, the private sector and academia. In the logistics management department, we can divide our courses into 3 separate sections. Classical logistics, general courses and innovative logistics courses. The general courses are courses such as history, Turkish language and mathematics, the classical courses are supply chain, storage and inventory management. Our innovative logistics courses are Green logistics, industry 4.0 and logistics applications, and digital supply chain management, which are innovative and future-proof courses.
Hello, I am İshak ÖZGE, a 3rd year student of Logistics Management at Istanbul Esenyurt University. Our department is becoming popular both in Turkey and in the world. It is a profession that has reached its peak with the effect of the pandemic in Turkey. Currently, most universities in Turkey are just opening this department. It has become one of the most preferred departments of students. The main factor for me to choose Istanbul Esenyurt University was its academic staff, the activities provided by the school, and also its library. The opportunities I benefited most while studying in the logistics management department was the academic staff, library and events organized by the International Logistics Club. I am both the founder and president of the International Logistics Club. The benefits of the International Logistics Club are the technical trips, field trips, conferences and joint trips with other clubs. If you want to take advantage of such opportunities, Istanbul Esenyurt University may be a good choice for you. After graduating from the logistics management department, I want to work in Turkey for a couple of years, expand abroad, establish my own logistics company and become an international brand. I recommend the candidates who will choose our university and department to benefit from the knowledge and experience of the academic staff, not to hesitate to communicate with the professors, and to participate in the activities organized by the student clubs.
