Hello, I'm Instructor Ekrem Erdinç GÜLBAŞ. I have been working as the Head of the Department of Business Administration at the Faculty of Business Administration and Management Sciences at Istanbul Esenyurt University for 5 years. Business Administration is an extremely important department for students. People live in communities. There are definitely various associations and groups in the places where people live. It is the operators who enable these groups to orientate towards a certain goal and achieve this goal successfully. In this sense, the Department of Business Administration is a department that aims to provide training for the managers of the future, both in the private sector and in non-profit organizations. In this sense, it is aimed to provide our students with knowledge that will help realize the functions of planning, organization, leadership and control, and that they can carry the organization to the highest level in these subjects. Introductory courses in the first year of business administration are courses such as introduction to law, introduction to accounting and introduction to business. In the next semester, a variety of courses are offered, focusing on accounting, finance, production and marketing, and human resource management. Courses such as marketing, customer relations, brand management, consumer behavior, financial management in financial matters, cost, accounting, business finance, human resources leadership, management and organization are offered. At the same time, we have a very large pool of elective courses in parallel with the developments in the world. We have an industry 4.0 course, although 5.0 has arrived. Our curriculum is reinforced with courses related to the industry, covering the developments in the world, such as family businesses, entrepreneurship, and e-commerce.
Hello, my name is Cahit ŞAHİNKAYA. I am a 3rd year student at Istanbul Esenyurt University, Faculty of Business and Management Sciences, Department of Business Administration. The reason why I chose the Department of Business Administration is because it is a versatile department, and also because it’s in English. At the same time, it provides opportunities in the private sector and business life. I chose Istanbul Esenyurt University because of its location and the teaching staff's business experience. While studying in the department of business administration, I mostly benefit from the activities we organize with the teaching staff, library and foreign students. I would recommend the students who will choose the English department of business to improve their English language skills, do research on economics, finance, accounting and marketing, read articles and watch videos. I recommend candidates who will choose Istanbul Esenyurt University to benefit from our clubs, laboratories and library. I wish success to the candidates who will take the university exam.
