Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Hello, I am İsmail DÜZCAN. I am a 4th year student of Yozgat Bozok University Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in 2007 at Yozgat Bozok University to provide education and training and to carry out research and development. It is located in the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at Bilal Şahin West Campus.
In the department of electrical-electronics engineering, basic courses such as history, Turkish language, mathematics, physics as well as introduction to electrical-electronics engineering and programming courses are given in the 1st year. In the 2nd year and beyond, theoretical and practical courses are given in the field of electrical and electronics engineering.
In electrical and electronics engineering, we have 7 laboratories such as circuit analysis, logic circuits, computer. In these laboratories, the materials necessary for the teaching of the courses are available and available to us.
Our internships are carried out at the end of the 2nd and 3rd year of our department in the summer periods, a total of 40 working days, 20 days for electricity and 20 days for electronics. After completing the graduation homework and electrical-electronic design application homework, we are entitled to graduate from our department.
The main areas we can work when we graduate from our department; We can take part in the private and public sectors according to the fields such as communication, electronics, design, software that we are oriented in electrical-electronics. At the same time, we can establish our own business or we can progress in the academic field by doing master's and doctorate.
The reason why I prefer this department is that it is in my field of interest and I am very interested in research and development and technology.
The reason why I preferred Yozgat Bozok University is that it was located in Yozgat, the city where I live, and that there are academic staff who are consultants in companies that have proven themselves such as TAI (Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc.) and who have developed themselves abroad and have a doctorate.
In my department, I benefit the most from the laboratory environments, the counselling of our teachers, their support for our projects, and the unlimited internet facilities provided.
After graduation, I aim to be the boss of my own business by establishing my own company after working in the private sector for 10 years in order to improve myself professionally.
My suggestion to the candidates who want to prefer our department; firstly ask yourself two questions. Do I like research and development? Do I have an interest in this field? If both of these questions are answered yes, I recommend them to choose our department. If you prefer Yozgat Bozok University, I can say that we have professors who have developed themselves in the academic field in America and Europe and who are consultants in companies such as TAI (Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc.). These are the factors that will make great contributions to your future and develop you. Therefore, I recommend you to choose our university.
