Theatre Group

Hi, I am Mehmet Can Keysan. I am a second year student at the Faculty of Law at Başkent University. Our school is in the theater community. Our school theater community was founded in 1996. One of the most established communities of the school. This year we celebrate our 20th anniversary. Our community has made about 35 plays in 20 years. Our goal is to try to get it out of the theater in the first year, especially in the theater education. In those 20 years we've got 35 games. Every year we try to make at least two games. Of course, sometimes this actor also finds the number 3 - 4. Examples have been in the past years. Starting at the beginning of the year with basic work, basic acting studies and improvisations. Then we go to the theories of the actor, we teach Stanislavski about acting. We want the incoming members to make tirat, we want them to be in tirat studies. In general, it reaches up to our community early in the year and to the participation of 200-300 people from our school. We receive a lot of records, we get members. Over time, our member count starts to decrease towards the middle of year. In general, we are an average of 50-60 people. There were 70 people this year, a little more than last. Our members can be anyone, we do not have a member profile. For those who see themselves as talented and who say they are confident. This is very important to us because there is a stage in the theater in front of the stage and backstage is very important, there is a preparation phase, decoration, costume, accessories everyone who is more devoted is important for us, and talent is much more.
There is a communication studio affiliated to the Faculty of Communication and a meeting hall connected to the Cultural Directorate. Usually our work is in the communication studio. Like I said, we are trying to make at least 2 plays during the year. Apart from that, we go on tour with the members who came to our community. Tours like this: Schools, universities are usually always theater festivals. We are participating in these theater festivals till the last application date. There is not at least one tour in the year again. At best, for us, the most beautiful, most comprehensive event for the community is usually the tour. Our favorite cities are also Antep, Adana, Muğla, universities there. We are very fused with these people, we go almost every two years, every three years. For example, we had 2 tours last year, it was a great event for us, it was a good year. Since the theater group is once on purpose, in the theater community, you are self-confident once you are on stage. A person who is accustomed to the scene prepares itself for telling himself or herself in all kinds of places. Apart from that, I will go through my own section: I am a student at the Law School, making presentations is like a life goal for me, something I have to do in my life. And I can really make my presentations more relaxed, more self-confident, and more impressive on the other side, thanks to the theater. Apart from that diction and rhetoric can provide very important developments in our members. Because the first impression is speech. Because a person should not make mistakes on the stage, with their dictation, should not say the wrong word and should affect the opposition.
