Department of Business Administration

Hi – I am Professor Sevgi GÖNÜLLÜOĞLU, the Deputy Head of Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University's Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration. Our faculty has a long history, having been established under Kütahya Dumlupınar University in 1993, making it 30 years old this year. Our department offers comprehensive education and training in all areas that can be useful for students entering the business world. We equip our students with competence that they can apply when starting their own business or working for other companies. Our courses cover a wide range of subjects, including those that are relevant to the world and the country's agenda and require change and development. This ensures that our students are always equipped with the latest knowledge and skills, providing them with better opportunities in the developing world. In addition, our department has a computer laboratory available for students to use in courses that require computer education. While internships are not compulsory, our students are given the opportunity to gain practical experience if they wish to do so. Moreover, our students may apply for internships through the Career Gate of the Presidency, provided they meet certain conditions. We also offer our students the chance to study abroad through the ERASMUS program. Partner universities in countries like Poland, Latvia, Estonia, and the Czech Republic are available to our students. This program offers an opportunity to gain an education and experience different cultures.
Our department has been organizing career days as an opportunity for guidance and counseling. We invite participants from the business world and our graduates to help current students learn about different job opportunities available after graduation. Graduates of our department have the option to either start their own business or work in various positions in the private or public sectors. We have dedicated teachers and instructors who offer support and counseling to students who need help in their studies. We also assist our students in deciding whether to enroll in certificate programs, and encourage them to develop their communication skills and learn foreign languages to expand their job opportunities beyond their country or region. Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University is located in a small yet comfortable and accessible city, offering a peaceful environment to our students.
