There are international exchange programs for undergraduate and graduate students and faculty mobility. As a part of the Erasmus Plus plan, there are bilateral agreements with 9 universities in 7 European countries such as Germany, England, Portugal and Spain. Mevlana Exchange Program is also a program which provides overseas higher education, student and academic staff mobility. Those who want to apply to the program can apply by contacting the faculty coordinator. The faculty has held many scientific events such as congresses, symposiums and workshops. Students continue their studies by conducting scientific research under the guidance of the instructor and present these researches at the National Nursing Congress. Our graduates can work as nurses in different positions in public and private sector organizations. They can specialize in their field by completing postgraduate and certificate programs. They can work as branch nurses in fields such as intensive care, operating room, dialysis, and psychiatry. There are areas such as family and community health, home care, occupational health, school health and nursing home nursing. With the development of Health Tourism and the increase in the number of foreign patients, graduates of the English department will be sought-after healthcare professionals. Graduates who want to continue their academic career can take part in postgraduate education and nursing education programs at universities. A certain level of education is required before becoming and academic. Classes are divided into 2 branches in order to complete the courses more efficiently. Interactive methods are used in these courses. By creating stations in order to learn the applications in the laboratory more easily, various applications such as simulation, case studies with simulated patients, demonstrations and video demonstrations are performed for small groups. The student’s development is assessed with skill checklists. When there is a skill that needs to be repeated, the laboratory specialist nurse provides support to the students. In order to carry out practical training, training programs for clinical guide nurses are carried out in the internship. Clinical practices in all courses are carried out in accordance with the learning objectives of the course, by selecting hospitals, accompanied by the instructor and taking into consideration the occupational health and safety conditions. Growth and quality expectations in the health sector have increased the need for qualified nurses. Graduates can work in public hospitals, private hospitals and university hospitals. In terms of job opportunities, our profession is more advantageous than other professions. High academic success during the education process, gaining experience with part-time work, ensuring personal development by participating in social activities and sustaining foreign language development will help in preparation for the profession. It would be an appropriate choice for people who love working for people, care about serving people and aim to improve themselves in this sense, to choose the nursing profession. Consultancy services are provided on accommodation, scholarship and social opportunities especially for students coming from outside the province and from Istanbul. It makes it easier to participate in the social activities of the university and provides interaction with different student groups. We would like to see candidates who will choose to be nurses in our faculty and wish them success.
