Hello, I'm Burak Omala. I am a 4th year student at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Faculty of Sports Sciences, Training Education. The aim of our department is to increase social interest in physical education and sports, to train trainers and teachers who can express themselves, recognize and promote their national values in the light of Atatürk's principles and reforms, and who have received modern education in parallel with the developing science. In our department, we have theoretical courses as well as applied courses. Among our theoretical courses, we have courses such as Human Anatomy and Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Sports Pedagogy, Anthropometry. We have 2 tennis courts, indoor and outdoor, in our department. In addition to these, we have a football field, volleyball court, basketball court, semi-olympic swimming pool, fitness center and athletics track. After graduation, we have a great advantage in terms of employment. Because there are many job opportunities not only in the public sector but also in the private sector. I always had a thing for sports. For this reason, I always dreamed of myself as a sports scientist, that's why I chose this department. One of the main reasons why I chose Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University is that our faculty offers us the opportunity to learn and practice many different sports branches in a theoretical and practical sense. In addition, it offers students the opportunity to study in Turkey and abroad with student exchange programs such as Erasmus and Farabi, which I have also benefited from. After graduation, I want to start my academic career. Afterwards, I aim to serve my country and sports science as much as I can. My suggestion to the candidates who will choose our department is for them to benefit as much as possible from our instructors who have a broad vision and mission, many of whom have a sports related background. I wish success to the candidates who will take the exam.
