Department of Graphic Design

I'm Gamze Eldemir. I am a 1st year student at Turhal Faculty of Applied Sciences, Graphic Design Department. Our department is a division which provides 4-year undergraduate education. Our department was established to train experts in the area of graphic design. Our department takes students through an aptitude test. We take design and applied courses. We also have courses where we learn two- and three-dimensional programs. We have state-of-the-art workshops and laboratories in our department. These consist of a Mac computer workshop, graphics workshops, print and application workshops, and a photography studio. An internship is compulsory in our department. We do an internship in 3rd grade. When we graduate from our department, we can work in many fields such as graphic design, illustration and web design. I chose this department because I am interested in graphics, drawing and design programs. I chose Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University because of the opportunities it offers to students in the field of graphic design. After graduation, I want to open my own graphic design agency and pursue a career. I would recommend the candidates who will choose our department to improve their drawing skills and make good use of the workshop opportunities offered by our school. I wish good luck to the candidates who will take the exam. We want to see you all among us.
