Painting-Job Teaching

Hello, I'm Yasin Taşkın. I am a 2nd year student at the Department of Art and Work Teaching. Our department was established to train art teachers. It is located in Taşlıçiftlik Campus. In addition to pedagogical courses and general culture courses, theoretical and art courses are provided in our department. There are painting, sculpture, graphic and original printing workshops in our department. Students of our department do internships at schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in their last year. In addition, we produce a graduation project within the scope of the workshop course we have chosen. After graduation, the students of our department can work as art teachers in public and private institutions affiliated to the Ministry of National Education. They can also set up their own workshops and work freelance. I have always been interested in painting, I had previously graduated from the History Department and I decided to study painting in order not to feel the lack of it in my life in the future. I chose Gaziosmanpaşa University because of its experienced academic staff and the physical opportunities it offers to the students. After graduation, I want to become an art teacher and continue carrying out artistic studies by establishing my own workshop. I recommend students who come here to benefit from the physical and social facilities of our university. I wish good luck to the candidates who will take the exam.
