Tourism and Hotel Management

Hi friends my name is Arda Taylan. I am a 2nd year student in Tourism Hotel Management. To train qualified personnel for establishment tourism and hospitality sector. And after graduating, it is training staff to work in this sector easily. The courses given in general are similar to most courses in our school, but as part of our courses, such as Tourism Entry, Tourism Management, Hotel Management. We only take specific lessons that we can get in the tourism department. Under the school as a workshop, we see hands-on lessons at Kızılcahamam Patalya Hotel. In this hotel we take kitchen lessons, service lessons as well as room service lessons and floor services lessons practically at Patalya Hotel. Apart from this, we are taking the front desk and our lessons in the practice class in Patalya hotel. We have two compulsory internships. One is 50 working days in the summer term of the 3rd class and the other is the on-the-job training in the last period of our 4th class. If we do not have any lessons at the bottom, we will graduate only to work for 4 days in the 4th class. After graduating from the department, we have a lot of options like hotel operators, agencies, all kinds of tourism operators, travel agencies, public to work. Another friend of mine reading my book about the video of our friends will briefly talk about the experience he or she had studied in this part of the University of Baskent.
Hello friends. My name is Yurtkan Ziya. I am a student at Başkent University Tourism and Hospitality Department. I chose this department because the social environment and human relationships were so intense and wide. I chose Başkent University for its educational staff and opportunities. Our school library was what I benefitted most from. The largest library in Ankara at the moment is in our school. And because public transport is free. My goals after graduation are to work in a hotel and advance in the hotel. Progress in that department. As our teacher Sayın Doğan said, we had a job offer during the internship. So I definitely recommend Başkent University because it is really a very good university with its facilities and teaching staff. And I advise my other future friends to definitely go on to the tourism department.
