The information and articles produced in our university have been published in many internationally respected journals so far. The fact that the books published by our university in the University Press and the academic studies in the international community, international environments and information sources have made our university a well-known university in the world. Our international students are now representatives of our university abroad. Our university has reached a point where everyone can reach by preparing its website in multiple languages on the way to internationalization. Our university has signed protocols with different universities in many countries. With Erasmus and Erasmus+ programs, we exchange students every year with the universities included in the Erasmus program, especially the universities of European Union countries. Our students go to these countries and study there. The education they received there contributes to their graduation in terms of the credits they have. Our academicians also go to those countries and universities within the same program and they both receive and give education there. From there, academics come to us as part of the exchange program. We also send a certain amount of staff from our administrative employees with these exchange programs every year. With our Mevlana program in our own country, we take students from many countries to our university. Apart from these, we currently have protocols with more than 50 universities in the world, our university has mutual student and faculty exchange protocols. In line with these protocols, we apply exchange programs between students and faculty members. In terms of bilateral relations, we host many universities in our university. We have hosted many rectors from Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Europe in our university so far. We also hosted many of the ambassadors in our country at our university. They got to know our university. Some of these ambassadors also discuss with universities in their own countries about our university in terms of education and make mutual assessments from time to time. In terms of internationalization, our university works closely with sister countries in the Turkish republics, Iran, South Asian countries, Africa, the Middle East and European countries. For example, we hold an annual congress between Giessen University and Inonu University in Germany in the fields of Turkish-German health. One year we do it in Malatya at Inonu University in Turkey and the next year we do it at Giessen University in Germany. Every year, we hold a congress, especially on organ transplantation, and we continue to hold scientific symposiums. Again, every year we conduct a different study in the field of medicine and transplantation with different universities from Azerbaijan. We held a joint congress here with Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University.
