Hello friends, I am İzzet ÜNLÜ. I am the Head of Yozgat Bozok University Health, Culture and Sports Department. Our unit carries out the health, culture and sports affairs of the university. Activities such as student nutrition and sports activities are carried out in our unit. At the same time, our unit is a unit where cultural activities are carried out. We provide the necessary infrastructure for students to spend their time efficiently. We have 15 dining halls, one of which is a central dining hall for nutrition. We have infrastructures for sports activities, and our congress and culture centre is a place where our students carry out their cultural activities. It is also a place where the works of our students are exhibited. The Department of Health, Culture and Sports carries out the activities of part-time students at the same time, employing 200 students, part-time students, providing their financing, insurance entries; cultural activities, sports activities of students and nutrition activities are our main areas.
We provide food service in a total of 15 units, 7 in the districts and 7 in the centre. As for our cultural activities, we support the activities carried out in the units themselves, especially in our congress culture centre. As for sportive activities, we take an active role in events such as YOBU Fest and spring festivals. We have traditional sports festivals at our university. From now on, we have provided these infrastructures in our sports activities, which we consider as YOBU Fest, in our outdoor fields, indoor sports fields, tennis courts and other units. Our students use these facilities whenever they want. As for the spring festivals, we also host people from the show world and the art world, especially our own resources, as well as our students. We crown these events with our general graduation.
There are areas where our students can do sports. We have an indoor sports field, indoor tennis court, outdoor football field and indoor carpet field. Our students benefit from these free of charge. We have approximately 116 student organisations. Our student societies express themselves in a very wide range. As you know, student societies are one of the best ways for students to express themselves.
Our student communities provide services in many areas such as social responsibility projects, events, culture and art activities, music, sports, traditional games. We contribute to our students.
Our students are supported by our unit in line with the projects they have done.
Our students exhibit their talents in a wide range of approximately 87 social responsibility projects and 67 events. I would especially like to mention traditional archery and modern archery. The "shoot an arrow for history" events, which we will organise for the 5th time this year, are the events held by our traditional archery. Our modern archery also has good works. On the other hand, we have communities participating in concrete canoe competitions at the point of scientific studies. We have a music and art community. Indeed, we perform approximately 80% of the music part of our spring festivals and YOBU festival through this ensemble. We also have theatre ensembles and many other similar activities.
There are beautiful environments where our students can exhibit their talents and spend their time efficiently. We provide these environments. Yozgat Bozok University, with its infrastructure and superstructure, has made all kinds of preparations for students to spend their time efficiently in the time left over from classes. Whether it is canteens, fields for sports, fields for cultural activities, needs such as nutrition, there is a very nice environment opened here through the youth office, which we have carried out jointly with the youth centre of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. There is a warm, beautiful environment where they can read books, do sports, and come together and engage in better activities. Therefore, we have completed all kinds of preparations for students to spend their extracurricular time efficiently here. Our students have a pleasant time here.
