International Student
Hello, my name is Jawad. I am a 1st year student at Yozgat Bozok University, Department of Computer Engineering. In 2021, I came to Yozgat from Morocco.
Normally, I wanted to study computer engineering in my own country. However, it is a bit difficult to choose this department in my country. So I looked at other countries and chose Yozgat Bozok University in Turkey.
The thing I thought about the most before coming to Turkey was the language. I was thinking about how I could find friends because I was going to come to a foreign country, so I was a bit scared. Now, of course, I am better. Especially the university helped me a lot. I made a lot of friends in the first two months and I improved my Turkish more.
I searched for universities in Turkey on the internet and saw Yozgat Bozok University in the advertisements. I applied from the university's website and my registration process was very easy, the professors were very helpful.
After I came to Yozgat Bozok University, I improved my Turkish and was able to communicate better with my friends.
I did not have any big problems, but there were small problems. My professors and university staff were very helpful when I had a problem.
While studying computer engineering, we get more hands-on training. This makes it more memorable. That is why I am satisfied with the education I received.
Since I live alone, I learned how to cook, how to solve my problems on my own and especially how to communicate with my Turkish friends, and I also learned how to work disciplined.
In the first months of my arrival, Yozgat Bozok University organized activities for us. We went to other embassies and tasted different foods. For example, I ate kebabs, barbecue, pancakes, etc. We also went to museums and learned about Ottoman history. These activities were very useful for us.

My advice to new students coming to our university; make friends, if you have any problems, our professors always help you. You can also participate in activities and explore Yozgat.
After graduation, I want to study for a master's degree and live in Turkey. I wish success to the students who will take the university exam. We welcome everyone to Yozgat Bozok University.
