Hello everyone, I’;m Samandar Khamdamov. I am a student at Anadolu University Faculty of
Humanities. I came to Turkey from the Republic of Kazakhstan. I chose Turkey because
Kazakh and Turkish cultures are very similar to each other. That's why I looked up Eskişehir

Anadolu University, I thought it was nice and liked it and enrolled there. I thought it would
be very difficult to live in another country, but after coming to Eskişehir, all of these doubts I
had were unfounded. Eskişehir is a very beautiful city. I really liked this place. When I was in
Kazakhstan, I was searching for literature faculties on the internet. At that time, a friend of
mine chose Anadolu University. So I looked at the website and was convinced it was a very
nice place. So I applied to the Faculty of Humanities. I talked to the teacher online. Then I
registered. After completing my application, and when the results were announced, I
immediately came to Eskişehir. After I came to Anadolu University, I registered at TÖMER
(Turkish Teaching Application and Research Center). I improved my Turkish at TÖMER. It
was very difficult for me to apply for a residence permit after I came to Eskişehir, but my
professors at Anadolu University helped me a lot. I thank them. I am very satisfied with the
education provided at Anadolu University. The teachers help us as much as they can.
University allows us to get to know different cultures. I've been to other places in Turkey,
but I decided that Eskişehir was a very suitable city for me to live in. There are many
students in Eskişehir. Eskişehir is not a very expensive city. You can get a good education at
Anadolu University. Eskişehir is a student city and a very safe city. After graduating from
Anadolu University, I will return to my country and continue my career there. International
students can come to Anadolu University without any doubts. We want to see you among
us.
