Mevlana Exchange Program
Hello, I’m Bilge Kağan Özdemir. I am the Director of Anadolu University International
Relations Unit. At the same time, I am working as the Mevlana institution coordinator.
Associate, undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students registered in the formal
programs of our university and our university staff can benefit from the Mevlana exchange
program. In order to benefit from the Mevlana exchange program, our students must have
completed 1 semester at our university. In addition, another criterion for applying to the
program is to have a GPA of at least 2.50 out of 4 for associate and undergraduate students,
and to have a GPA of 3 out of 4 for students continuing their graduate education. Finally,
our students who want to benefit from the Mevlana exchange program must get at least 55
points out of 100 in the foreign language exam conducted by our university. In addition to
this exam held by our university, our students can also use foreign language documents with
international validity. Students who get 55 points from the foreign language exam and fulfill
the grade point average criteria are ranked by combining 50% of their scores, and have the
chance to continue their education abroad with a grant offered by the Council of Higher
Education to our university. The most important feature of the Mevlana exchange program
is that the courses you take there are accepted as a part of our curriculum. Thanks to this,
they will not extend their education by any means, and ad the courses they have taken their
to our own transcript. Another great thing about the Mevlana exchange program is that
students will not pay any fees in the higher education institutions they attend. Our
university has Mevlana exchange program agreements, including over 127 programs with
more than 50 higher education institutions in 19 different countries. In this context, Anadolu
University students have continued their education in many different countries such as the
United States of America, Russia and Azerbaijan for one or two academic semesters with the
Mevlana exchange program. I wish success to all students who will come to our university.
After you come to our university, do not forget to come to the International Relations Office
and get information to take advantage of the international opportunities offered to you.
