Department of International Business and Trade

friends, my name is Fatih Enes Erbil. I am a fourth year student in the Department of International Trade and Business. International trade is a department that deals with the financial arena that takes place between different nations and countries. Logistics is a subject that deals with understanding exports and imports while providing an understanding for us about international customs. Our school produces students that are well-qualified, educated, and well-equipped to work in successful international companies and firms. Generally, courses focusing on the subject of international trade are given in our department. We also take verbal and numerical courses. Some of these classes would include things like; Turkish Economics, International Finance, International Trade Law, and Organizational Behavior. We have a computer laboratory. Almost all of our classes use technology and our class projectors. We have two mandatory internships in the Department of International Trade. The first one takes place for 1 month during the summer of our 3rd year. The second one is an internship project that we do in the second semester of our 4th year. This internship lasts for the whole 2nd semester of our 4th year. You are required to do an internship to work in many companies in this field. After you graduate from this department, you can work in different international logistics firms and customs firms. You can also work in different international specialization fields and in all other aspects of international finance. Another friend of mine will share with you about their experiences of studying in this department at Başkent University.
Hello, dear friends. I am a third grade students at Baskent University, department of International Trade. The reason I have chosen this department is that in the future I want to be dealing with import and export. I want to start my own business to continue my career actively. I have chosen Baskent University because of the great academic staff and the great opportunities it is offering to its students. The most important things fr me are library and academic staff. We can take advantage not only from our own teachers, but also we can get help we needed from the staff working in other faculties. And after our library has been renewed, we got a bigger and better place to study. After the graduation I want to gain some experience to start my own business afterwards. I want to work overseas. First of all, it is important for every student to overthink their future goals before applying to university. But if there are any of those who wants to deal with export and import, they certainly should apply to this university and this department.
