Hello, I am Elif Hilal Şen, Associate Professor, Director of Yuksek Ihtisas University, Vocational School of Health Services and Vocational School. Our vocational schools are all together in our building in Bağlum Campus of our university in Keçiören district of Ankara. Our Health Services Vocational School started its educational activities in 2016 in order to provide manpower that can carry out teamwork in different areas of health services, abide by ethical rules, have developed socially and culturally, are competent in their field, have high academic success, and can contribute to quality studies in the health sector. It also gave its first graduates in 2018. In our building where our vocational schools are located, we have classrooms where we carry out our educational activities, our Simulation Room, which is in the use of our joint programs, our Computer Laboratory, our Chemistry Laboratory, and labs specific to the programs such as Biomedical Device Technology, Optician and Pharmacy Services. In addition to these, we have a library that our students can actively utilise, a gymnasium, and a conference hall where we hold ceremonies and important day commemorations and where our student communities can also exhibit their activities. At the same time, our community room, which we established in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, where students can perform many activities, our dining hall where our students can have their lunch and our cafeteria which they can use all day, also offer space for social opportunities to our students. In addition to these, with the cooperation protocol of our university, our students can use the sports halls, swimming pools and library environments free of charge at the Youth Culture and Sports Center affiliated with Keçiören Municipality. This facility is also very close to our university, within awalking distance.Dear students of Yuksek Ihtisas University Vocational School, when you come here to study, through the associate degree programs you enrolled in, we aim to raise you as knowledgeable, competent, well-equipped and independent individuals. At the same time, our first goal is; to provide you with learning environments and university environments that will boost your academic success.
