Experimental Studies, Research and Application Center

I am Professor Doctor Hale Tufan. I am the Director of the Experimental Research and Application Centre at Yuksek Ihtisas University. The research centre has been established as a result of the emphasis our university gives to experimental studies. We began, with our lecturers dedicated studies on cell culture as part of the projects they ran alongside their lessons in their respective departments. Later, our centre continued with the research belonging to the other departments. Our centre is equipped in such a way to carry out fluorescence microscopy imaging, polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and Elisa electrophysiological studies. Students can use their extra-curricular time by actively participating in the projects which are run in the centre. This will give them the opportunity to develop their research skills and scientific approach with the help of their teachers. Thus, when they graduate, they will have their undergraduate education under their belt along with their foundation in scientific research. We currently have completed and ongoing studies, along with national and international projects which have either been recently accepted or are still being prepared. Our researchers enjoy working on these projects with our students. We invite our students to take part in these projects which are taking place in our centre, so that they can form a solid foundation in research and gain a scientific perspective during their undergraduate education. I would like to give the following advice to the candidates who are planning on choosing Yuksek Ihtisas University: if they don’t want to be passive students who spend all their time in the classroom and they would like to gain experience instead; they should choose us.
