Department of Health Management

Hello, I'm Ebru Demir. I am studying at Erbaa Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Health Management. Our department is located on the Erbaa Campus. The main aim of our department is to train qualified and knowledgeable health managers that our country needs. In our department, courses on health and health management are provided. These are courses such as General Accounting, Health Economics, Health Management. In our department, we have a very modern and well-equipped computer laboratory with a strong internet infrastructure. In our department, we do fieldwork in the second semester of the 4th grade. In this field study, we use our university's Research and Application Hospital, Erbaa State Hospital and other health institutions. By means of these field studies, we have the opportunity to transform the theoretical knowledge we learned at school into practical skills. After graduating from the department, we can work as a health manager in every field that provides health services, regardless of the sector. In addition, we can work in private and voluntary organizations that provide health services. As instructors, we can work in the relevant departments of universities. Our country has now become a country that exports health services. Since health services have moved to an international dimension, we can also find the opportunity to work in private companies that provide health services on an international scale. The health sector is a sector that has an open future and will always be needed. Since I am a part of this sector, I had the opportunity to observe the current problems and shortcomings first-hand. I chose this department in order to eliminate these problems and deficiencies and at the same time increase the quality and efficiency of health services. Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University is a university that has gained a place among universities in the national and international sense. Both the research performance and the success of its graduates prove this. I chose this university because I believe that Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University provides quality education and I believe that I can achieve the success I strive for in this university. After graduation, I want to work as a health manager in an institution that provides health services in the public or private sector. If I have the opportunity, I would like to improve my language skills in order to work in international health organizations.
