Hello, my name is Duygu Demirel. I am a senior student at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Finance. I live in Tokat. The Department of Finance, which is within the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University, was established in 1995. It started providing education in the 2005-2006 academic year. The main purpose of the establishment of the department is to train contemporary finance professionals who are equipped with financial information and have the qualifications to become a part of the expert staff in the public sector. General Economics, Fiscal Policy, Public Finance, Tax Law, Budget and Accounting courses are given in our department. We have a computer laboratory in our faculty. Each student has a computer. We use these computers quite a lot. There is no compulsory internship in our department. However, students who wish can do internships voluntarily. At the same time, our teachers also encourage us to do so. I also work as a part-time student at the Career Application and Research Center. After graduation, I will be able to work as a mid-level and senior manager in the public and private sectors. At the same time, I will be be advanrageous taking the finance inspector, account specialist, financial advisor and administrative judge exams. When I was in high school, my teachers recommended this department. After doing some research, I learned that the departments focused on the fields of finance, economics and law provide many employment possibilities. That's why I chose this department. I had come to our university campus before and liked it very much. I was very impressed by the welcoming nature of the teachers and staff here, and their very sincere nature. That's why I chose Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University. If you want to have a comfortable and great university period, you should definitely choose Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University. I would recommend you to focus on your foreign language skills first. Because language is necessary not only in our department, but in every department. At the same time, you can follow current developments, for example, you can read the newspaper every day. You can also read the articles written by the professors of the department.
