Faculty of Nursing

I am Ahmet Bahadır Çetin. I am a 2nd year student of Inonu University Faculty of Nursing. Our department is a well-established department that is set up to help people. The aim of our department is to provide graduates equipped with basic health sciences and nursing practices to ensure the health of people and to restore the health of people whose health has deteriorated. The Faculty of Nursing in our university is located on the central campus of Inonu University. We see lessons for the causes, complications, treatments and care of diseases that may affect human life. Surgical Diseases, Internal Medicine, Children's Health and Diseases are some of these courses. There are laboratories and simulation rooms in our faculty. These labs are available from the 1st grade for nursing students. Nursing students are given theoretical courses by our professors. After receiving basic trainings in the laboratory from the spring semester of the 1st grade, our faculty offers internship opportunities in the hospital and this internship opportunity continues until the last year. By practicing the different course content every year, we can reinforce our theoretical knowledge. After graduation, we have the opportunity to work in private hospitals or public hospitals, private clinics, Red Crescent, or prisons. I'm a person who likes to communicate with and help people. As a result of my research, I realized that nursing is the most suitable profession for these characteristics. That's why I chose the Faculty of Nursing. As a result of my researches, it has come to my attention that our university and faculty are well established, but also that their education is very good and that they graduate their students well-equipped. The fact that Turgut Özal Medical Center, where we had an internship, was one of the most successful hospitals in the region and even one of the leading hospitals in liver transplantation was one of the pros of this university for me. That's why I chose Inonu University. After graduation, I want to help people at home and abroad by applying the knowledge, skills and ethical behaviors I have gained at my university. Candidates who would prefer our university and department should consider that they should do this profession with great care. Because any mistake we make may be too costly. Never neglect to research and learn at the same time. Of course, do not forget to have fun in the green areas of our campus while doing these things. There are very few things that are as good as maintaining people's health or curing them. If you care about that sort of thing, I suggest you choose the Nursing Department. It’s a privilege to be a part of İnönü University. We'll be waiting for you at this beautiful faculty. We wish success to all the students who will take the exam.
