Hello, my name is İpek Yeliz Yıldız. I'm 21 years old, I'm from Gaziantep. I am a 3rd year student at Inonu University Faculty of Pharmacy. The faculties of pharmacy were established in order to train pharmacists who play an active role in all stages from making drugs to informing the patient. Our faculty was founded in 2002 on the central campus of Inonu University and gave its first graduates in 2006. In 2014, we moved to our own building, which has modern architecture and is better equipped. Our faculty has facilities such as extensive laboratory facilities, majistral workshop, application pharmacy, medical and aromatic plants garden. These opportunities help us get a more competent undergraduate education. At the same time, we attach importance to social activities such as study halls, libraries, unlimited internet access, relaxation and playgrounds. The basic pharmacy sciences courses in our faculty are chemistry-based courses such as Analytical Chemistry, General Chemistry and basic medical sciences such as Biochemistry, Microbiology, Anatomy, Physiology. Pharmacy professional sciences courses are our courses in pharmacology, pharmacognosia, pharmacy management, pharmaceutical chemistry, clinical pharmacy. Courses such as Pharmaceutical Technology and Radiopharmaceuticals are the courses of the pharmacy technology department we take for the industrial field. At the same time, we receive both practical and theoretical trainings of these courses within 5 years. We have compulsory internships every summer from the end of the 4th semester to the end of the 8th semester. We can do these internships in hospitals, pharmacies or industrial areas. In the 5th grade, we have a free pharmacy internship during the semester. In the 5th grade, under the name of Scientific Study Principles in Pharmacy course, each student carries out graduation projects with a professor in the field of interest. Since pharmacy is a multifaceted profession, we can find jobs in many different fields. We can work as hospital pharmacists and clinical pharmacists in the hospitals. We can work as pharmacists in public institutions such as TÜFAM (Turkey Pharmacologists Center), TTİCK (Turkish Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Authority), national poison Center, and R&D (research and development), also in sales and marketing departments in the industry. I've always wanted to work in the health sector because of the sanctity of serving human health. I realized that I had an interest in biology and chemistry in primary and secondary education. Pharmacy was a good profession for that. I chose it because of the excess of work and career opportunities, but also because it was an area of interest. Pharmacy is one of the most established and respected professions in the world. And I'm proud to be doing this in the future. Inonu University has one of the greenest campuses in the world. In addition, the dormitory and transportation facilities of our university are very convenient. We can use them actively. Malatya is a quiet, calm, reliable, student-embracing city. I researched the academic staff of the university, its well-equipped education, the active work of the student communities before I arrived, and these were important factors in my preference for the university. After graduating, I like to continue studying, so I'm thinking of staying in the academic field. My professors at the university have been very supportive and exemplary in this regard. We have easy access to everything we need on campus. There are multiple student dining halls, our food is affordable and clean. We also have a 24/7 library and cafeterias. The structure of our Campus is also very suitable for individuals with physical disabilities. Sporting activities are also highly valued on our campus. There are basketball and volleyball courts, tennis courts, indoor and outdoor swimming pools. There are walking paths and bike paths. We can actively use the bicycles provided to us by Inonu University. There are many advantages to having our own building in our faculty. We communicate seamlessly with our faculty teachers. At the same time, we have no difficulty finding internship places with the cooperation of Malatya Chamber of Pharmacists and our faculty. Inonu University is one of the most established universities in Turkey. We'll be happy to have you with us. I wish success to the friends who will take the exam.
