I'm Tolga Kaya. I work as the institute secretary at the Defense Health Sciences Institute. The Directorate of Defense Health Sciences Institute is located in the Health Sciences University Gülhane Complex. It was established as an institute with a focus on defense and health. The aim of the institute is to protect, plan and improve the health of our country's security forces. In this regard, our institute provides training by conducting research and development studies. In addition, it produces health services policies. Trainings are provided in 10 special branches such as chemical, biological, radioactive and nuclear, air and space medicine, military health services, and disaster aid. The main postgraduate trainings we provide are master's and doctoral education in Military Health Services.We have medical CBRN (Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear Defense) master's and doctoral programs, Emergency Medicine master's doctorate education, and Health Services Management in Emergency Situations and Medicine, Medical Equipment Management master's programs with thesis. We accept students according to the postgraduate education directives of the Council of Higher Education and our university, for the postgraduate education programs we provide,. We have a thesis program in our master's program. We accept students who have completed a master's degree with thesis for the doctoral program. In addition, we accept students who meet the requirements for this program to the doctoral program. While providing postgraduate education, these trainings are given by the Heads of Military Health Services, Air and Space Medicine, Medical Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear Defense Medicine (CBRN), War Surgery and Emergency Medicine Departments. In addition, scholarships are granted at our institute. Some of these are Flight Doctor, Physiology Course, Air Ambulance Staff Course, Medical CBRN Course, Combat Medical Training courses. In addition to these courses, collaborative studies are also carried out within the scope of R&D studies with the defense industry. Our students will participate in research, development and training activities in the field of defense and health with the training they will receive.
