Uzbekistan Vocational School of Health Services

I am Associate Professor Papatya Keleş. I teach anatomy at Ibn-i Sina Vocational School of Health Services. Ibn-i Sina Vocational School of Health Services was established in Bukhara, Uzbekistan in 2019. There is no institution that trains technicians in Uzbekistan, and there is a serious need in this field. Anesthesia, Physiotherapy and First and Emergency Aid Departments were opened to meet this need. In the Anesthesiology, First and Emergency Aid and Physiotherapy departments within the body of Ibn-i Sina Health Services Vocational School, theoretical courses are given for these departments and the opportunity to practice in hospitals throughout the year is offered. Education period in our vocational school consist of 3 years. Students who successfully complete their courses during these 3 years receive the title of technician in their field upon graduation. During these 3 years, they conduct both the theoretical courses and the internships of the practical courses throughout the year in the surrounding hospitals. Our students who graduated from the anesthesia, physiotherapy and First and Emergency Aid programs of our vocational school can work in public hospitals, health institutions and private clinics. Ibn-i Sina Vocational School of Health Services trains technicians. Since no other institution of this kind exist in Uzbekistan, the need is great. We believe that our students who graduate from these programs will find employment easily. Ibni Sina Vocational School of Health Services trains technicians in 3 programs, namely Anesthesia, Physiotherapy and First and Emergency Aid programs. Students who want to be technicians in these fields and want to work in the field of health can choose our programs. The University of Health Sciences supports both its domestic and international units by providing lectures by qualified faculty members and by creating laboratory infrastructures.
