Gulhane Medical Design and Manufacturing Center

The Gülhane Institute of Health Sciences Directorate was established in 1984. Since the year our institute was founded, it has been providing postgraduate and doctoral education in the fields of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy and health sciences. Besides the educational facilities, the Gülhane Health Sciences Institute Directorate also includes the Pharmacy Sciences Center, where drug and pharmacy research is carried out, and research and development units where other research and development studies are carried out. In addition, our laboratory and all our administrative staff ensure that the activities in our institute are carried out in the most effective way possible. In our R&D and research units, especially with the effective work of our International Project Coordination Unit, many internationally valid scientific studies and researches are carried out in all fields. Gülhane Health Sciences Institute Directorate can work in partnership with all health institutions of our country. All facilities and research and development activities are open to these health institutions. Cooperation is maintained at the highest level by providing the necessary preliminary coordination regarding these issues. Graduate students who are accepted to our university based on the criteria of the Council of Higher Education are accepted according to the general criteria determined by our university. The education of graduate students is carried out in the most effective way. Postgraduate students who are a part of the Gülhane Institute of Health Sciences work in different fields of health sciences. While working in public institutions and organizations, after completing their undergraduate education or while continuing their studies in the field of health, they can receive graduate and doctoral education in our institute. Our efforts to increase both the number and effectiveness of our master's and doctoral education programs continue. In the future, plans are being made to ensure that the facilities of our research and development units are used most effectively by our graduate students and researchers. Students who want to take part in postgraduate education programs, especially during their graduate education, have the opportunity to benefit from many of our units, such as the Experimental Animal Production and Research Unit, the Stem Cell Research Unit within our R&D departments.
