Hello, I am Uğur PALA, a sophomore student at Pamukkale University, Faculty of Sport Sciences, Department of Physical Education and Sports Teaching. Our department was established to train qualified individuals to work in institutions and organizations affiliated to the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Our department is located in the main campus of Pamukkale University, Kınıklı Campus. We have applied and theoretical courses: our applied courses are tennis, basketball, volleyball, football, and courses for other branches. In addition to our theoretical courses, we also have courses in the field of education. Since it is a department that trains educators, our educational courses are important. We have a dance hall, football field, tennis courts, and basketball courts. We have a graduation project that we prepare in the 4th grade, we also have internship programs that we do with our advisors. That's how we qualify to graduate. After graduating from the department, as the name of our department suggests, we become physical education teachers. We can also perform duties in clubs and federations affiliated with the Ministry of Youth and Sports. I chose the department because I have been involved with sports since my childhood and I love it very much. I chose Pamukkale University because of its academic staff and sports complex, which is the biggest sports complex in Türkiye. The biggest advantage of this department is its academic staff, professors are easy to reach and communicate with. Academics are very helpful on that. The sports complex is available for all branches of sports. After graduation, I have two goals, first of all, I want to become a teacher and after gaining a certain experience, I want to pursue an academic career by completing my master's and doctorate education at Pamukkale University. The location of Pamukkale University in Denizli is great, also the university has very wide and comprehensive opportunities compared to many universities in Türkiye.
