Our university is doing everything in its power to implement technology
If a professor cannot find an article, we provide it for them. This is how our library works. The database helps us. On the other hand, textile technology, machine technology, cable technology, marble-mining technology has an important place in the technological progress of Denizli, which is a city focused on technology.
In addition to technological developments, our university also produces rockets for the defense industry. Students helps us with that.
This is also developed by our students and we are now able to manufacture rockets for ROKETSAN. As a university, we opened the Undergraduate Student-supported Scientific Research Project Department. Therefore, Scientific Research Project Coordinatorship provides financial support to such students.
Pamukkale University offers great accomodation options for students. Because both the state dormitories affiliated to the Credit and Hostels Institution, private dormitories and residences are abundant in Denizli.
Therefore, we do not encounter a student who has a housing problem. Currently, there is room for 3500 students. Likewise, we have vacancies in private dormitories.
Therefore, when a student arrives, there is no problem related to accommodation. Pamukkale University is one of the exemplary universities in terms of student success.
Pamukkale University has become an indispensable university in Teknofest competitions. In the last technofest, our 11 teams received 12 awards. It's a huge success. Again, in the past years, we have gotten awards. Therefore, our students work very intensively in industrial R&D. But not only in industry, but we have achievements in sports related competitions. One of the best examples of this is that one of our disabled students was in the goalball team in Japan and became a champion. On the other hand, our architecture students are awarded every year, especially in the field of artistic design.
There are many awards that I cannot count at the moment. I am proud of my students. We are working very seriously to transform the central main campus of our university into a barrier-free university.
We achieved many things in that regard. The Faculty of Education received a green flag in both accessibility and transportation. We have seen that other faculties can also become unhindered with very minor touch-ups, and we are working to complete these tasks.
Disabled students do not have a disadvantage in our university. They can study very easily, we are waiting for them. Our university is doing double-degree studies this year – to be valid next year.
we worked with Suny University in New York, USA, with 3 departments double degree studies. If YÖK approves it, 3 of our departments will also have an American diploma, which you can obtain by studying here.
As fır ERASMUS, we are in the 11th place in Turkey in terms of student mobility. Both our students and faculty members use the ERASMUS Program. In addition, Farabi and Mevlana Programs are also implemented. We are also applying to the ERASMUS Doctorate Program this year. If we manage it, we will work on the doctoral program. We want to use these programs to get in touch with eastern universities in Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Osh University, Samarkand University. We also want to establish relations with universities in Kosovo, Pirizren, Pristina and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Balkans. We want to be in close cooperation. Students can choose our university without any doubts in mind. Whatever they are aiming for, they can find it at our university. If they want to receive a quality education, an education focusing on the teacher-student relationship , they can achieve this at Pamukkale University. If they want applied training, they can also receive that at our university. Therefore, we are proud of our university and our alumni. Pamukkale University is a pioneering university. If we can employ graduates in the private sector at a rate of 72 percent, this is our success. Parents should know that Denizli is among the provinces that can be selected for their children in terms of shelter, safety and health.We have no problems related to accomodation, safety or health, thanks to our hospital.
