Farabi Program

Dear candidate students, first of all, hello. My name is Arzum IŞITAN. I am a faculty member at Pamukkale University, Faculty of Technology, Department of Mechanical Engineering. I am also the Farabi coordinator of our university. Farabi Program is a scholarship program based on one or two semester exchange of associate, undergraduate, graduate and doctorate students among universities in Turkey. Students who have settled in our university from abroad can also benefit from this opportunity. Turkey is located at the cross-section of the Asian and European continents. This gives our country a unique geography and unique cultures. With the Farabi Program, students at associate, undergraduate, graduate and doctorate levels can apply to approximately 100 universities in our country and experience this cultural diversity in our country. In addition, academically, they have the opportunity to train at different universities in different academic environments, in different laboratories, with different professors. All students with a GPA of 2 or more at associate, undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels can benefit from the Farabi Exchange Program. Students with a GPA less than 2 and students in the preparatory and first year cannot benefit from the Farabi Exchange Program. The academic calendar regarding the Farabi Exchange Program and the conditions for admission and approval to this program is announced the previous year. Our students, especially those who want to benefit from the Farabi Exchange Program, can apply by following this academic calendar. Applications are made by our coordinator within the framework of the academic calendar, and then the evaluation phase and the announcement of the presentations are made by our coordinator. We are waiting for you all to our university, which has a good infrastructure with leading professors in the fields of technology, sports, arts and social sciences.
