International University
Good day to you. I am Ufuk University, International Relations and Erasmus Coordinator, Levent Öcal. In the admission of foreign students, the principles of admission dictated by the Council of Higher Education are taken into consideration. In this context, the number of students to be admitted to the programs are determined by our university. Whether or not candidates are foreign nationals, or if the foreign candidate has acquired Turkish citizenship and has dual nationality of the Republic of Turkey, are the kind of criteria we examine for candidates who apply to our university. Evaluation and selection is based on academic achievement and their interview grades. Academic success is based on the diploma grade, the university entrance exam grade, the high school graduation exam Baccalaureate and other international exam grades (such as SAT 1, ACT, ABITUR and the International Baccalaureate). In our university, the language of instruction is either Turkish, fully English or partially English. The compulsory English Preparatory Program is implemented in programs with partial or fully English language. In the programs with Turkish as the language of instruction, their Turkish proficiency level is determined by the Turkish language proficiency test. Erasmus exchange programs are very popular with our students. In accordance with our agreements with the European Union countries, our students benefit from both education and internships abroad. University tuition fees are determined every year. Half of the fee for the year must be paid during the final registration and the other half during renewed registration in the second semester. Social life at Ufuk University is maintained through various student societies. Music, Theater, Performing Arts, Travel, Folk Dances, Information Technologies, Gender and similar societies are very active in our students’; social life. If you want to take advantage of these facilities provided by our university, we await you here at Ufuk University. I wish success to those friends who come to study at our university.
