About Preparatory Programme

Hello, my name is Özge Eser and I study at Ufuk University and in the Department of English Language Teaching. Now, I study at the preparatory program. I am here to give you some information about the Prep Program. It is 2 semesters in duration. We take exams and if we pass them successfully, we can pass our departments. The passing grade is 60. The tests consist of regular quizzes which indicate our passing grades. We also have the occasional pop quiz. We don’t know when these quizzes will take place and these tests also impact our grades in the same way. If our score is less than 60, we receive prep classes for 2 semesters. We have competent teachers who help us work through our book-based lessons. Sometimes we watch movies connected to the subject and we play games. The classes are enjoyable. If you want to choose Ufuk University, I can tell you that I felt the warmth of its atmosphere from the first moment I stepped into the school—the people here were all very friendly and like a family. Our teachers are really helpful; not just in terms of our subject but with everything they can. I am really happy to be here. We would be happy to see you here and I wish you all ever success.
