Dormitory and Accommodation Facilities
Hello, my name is Hatice and I am from Aydın. I study at the Ufuk University and the Department of English Language Teaching and have been staying in the dorm for 1 year. Single and double rooms are available in our dorm. In our rooms, we have our own bathroom, a television, a work table, a storage bed, a couch and a bookcase. At the same time, we have internet access available 24/7. Our dorm is located on the campus and right next to our dorm, there is the campus gym. We are able to perform various activities there. I am very pleased that there is hot water 24/7 in our dorm, that the internet access is fast and that we have study areas. There are security guards 24/7 at the dorm. In addition, because our dorm is on the campus there are security officers at the entrance to our school. Consequently, we feel that we are in a very safe environment. In addition, the last entrance to the dorm is midnight and we have to sign in and out. One of the advantages which I have benefitted from while staying in the dormitories was that because I was in my first year, I spent time with friends and socialised more easily. We also spent time with our friends in the cafes which were open 24/7, so we could socialise more easily and adapt to university life quickly. Because we stay in the dormitory every day, and because our room is cleaned and we don't have to cook, we have the chance to spend more time on our lessons and our social life. There are free shuttle services between the campuses of our university. As our dorm is located on the campus, we can use these services free of charge. Since it was my first year in Ankara, I chose the dorm. As the dorm is located on the campus, we don't have problems such as being late for classes or exams. We can socialise more easily and there is no problem in adapting. We can easily make new friends and have a good time. If you want to benefit from these facilities, you can choose the Ufuk University Dormitory. I wish success to those friends who choose this university.
