The Department of Educational Administration, which oversees the Educational Institutions Management, provides comprehensive support to our students. Their department has three doctoral faculty members who offer guidance and counseling to our department’s students. Additionally, all our instructors are readily available during their office hours and designated meeting times to address students' questions and meet their expectations regarding the courses. We prioritize efficient handling of bureaucratic processes, ensuring prompt responses to student inquiries. Our university offers a well-equipped library that is spacious, comfortable, and easily accessible to all students. Students can also access internet-based databases outside the university using their student email addresses. Furthermore, our faculty members are more than happy to provide access to their personal libraries, offering a wealth of resources to support students' studies. Our university provides a conducive environment where students can easily access various resources and opportunities in their field of interest.
As a state university, our students have the opportunity to participate in the ERASMUS and Mevlana exchange programs facilitated by our university's International Office. These programs allow our students to experience international academic exchanges during their graduate studies at Istanbul Medeniyet University. Moreover, our students can conduct research both in Turkey and abroad through TÜBİTAK scholarships (Turkish Scientific and Technical Research Council). They can also pursue research projects and benefit from scholarships offered by foreign institutions related to their field of study. For international students, having a bachelor's degree is a prerequisite, and those who did not graduate from a Turkish program or institution are required to have a C1 level Turkish proficiency. While our non-thesis programs may be slightly more challenging for foreign students due to cultural differences, we aspire to establish an international non-thesis program in the near future. Students who graduate from our thesis programs at the master's level can continue their academic and research journey by pursuing doctoral programs to become scholars and researchers. Presently, several of our graduates are enrolled in doctoral programs both in the USA and Turkey.Graduates from our non-thesis programs receive additional points from the Ministry of National Education for managerial appointments.
