Pre School Teaching

I'm Beyza Sargın. I am 22 years old. I am studying at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University, Department of Preschool Teaching. Our department was established to train teachers for children aged 0-6. Our department is located in Tokat Taşlıçiftlik Campus, Faculty of Education. In addition to theoretical courses such as Child Development and Child Psychology, we also have a Teaching Practice course. In addition, we have courses such as Science, Art, Mathematics, Music. In our department, we have a drama class where we can practice and an adult education class where we can present various activities. In our department, we have a Teaching Practice course in the 4th grade for 2 semesters. Within the scope of this course, we prepare activities by using the theoretical knowlewdge we have learned for 4 years and present these activities with the children in the classroom environment. During our internship, we are evaluated by our internship teachers and university professors through the Ministry of National Education (MEB). If we are successful, we are entitled to graduate. After graduating from the department, we can work as administrators and teachers in private and government institutions. In addition, if we continue our education with a master's degree, we can work as an academician in universities. Pre-school education is the most important educational step in a child's life. For this reason, I wanted to contribute to children in this regard by studying teaching. Another reason is that there are many job opportunities in pre-school teaching. That's why I preferred pre-school teaching. The positive things said by my relatives who had studied at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University before, encouraged me to come to this department. The young and dynamic staff of the university was another factor contributing to my decision. After mastering this field and imporving my skills, my first goal will be to support the development and learning of preschool children all over Turkey and to enable them to participate in life as individuals. However, I want to continue researching in the academic field and make up for the deficiencies I see in my field by doing research. Our university provides us with many social benefits. If you want to improve yourself socially and in terms of communication, you should take advantage of these opportunities. I wish success to students who will take the exam.
