International University

I am Denada Mena. I come from Albania. I am studying here in the Department of Nursing. I'm in 2nd grade. I have been living in Turkey for 3 years. The reason why I chose Trakya University is that I can both study and do my internship at the same place. Internships work very well for those studying nursing. My friend applied to Trakya University, told me about it and I applied myself. Later I found out that I was admitted into the Department of Nursing here. I bought the plane ticket and came here. I went to the rectorate and submitted my documents and registered. After coming to Trakya University, I became a more social and friendly person. Actually, I was like that before, but after coming here, I learned about different cultures. Because it is not only Turkish students that study at Trakya University. There are also students from Africa and the Balkans. Every day you meet new people, every day you learn new things. I learned a lot after having come here. When I first came, I had a difficult time because my Turkish was not very good, sometimes I did not understand my courses and I was asking my instructors for assistance. The academic staff would help me a lot, when I did not understand something. They explained subjects to me again and again without being tired. I am very satisfied with the academic education of Trakya University. Here they provided us with all kinds of support for our education. I participated in many social events at Trakya University. I went to theater training and performed on stage. I joined the volleyball team. I've been to a few cities in Turkey, they were beautiful, but Edirne is the most beautiful city for me. This is one of the best places for students. This place is very calm, not crowded and there are many students. I will recommend my friends to choose this place. I was very satisfied here. Don't be afraid either. Choose Trakya. You will be very happy as well. After graduation, I will choose another department and study here again. Maybe later I can go to another country to work.
