International Trade and Finance

Hello, I'm Hüseyin Çakırlar. I am a lecturer at Keşan Yusuf Çapraz School of Applied Sciences, Department of International Trade and Finance. International Trade and Finance Department is a department that trains qualified personnel for foreign trade departments, logistics departments, and import-export departments of enterprises. In our department, courses such as Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, which are mostly taught in faculties of economic and administrative sciences, are offered in the first year. In the 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades, more department-specific courses such as International Trade, Logistics, International Marketing, Foreign Trade are taught. There are 3 computer labs in our school. We also have a library that students can use 24/7. There is an internship requirement in our school. To graduate, students must complete at least 40 days of internship. They can do their internship in any summer term from the 2nd to the 4th grade. They can do their internships especially in foreign trade departments of enterprises and logistics departments. Our students can benefit from the Erasmus Program. In this context, they can receive education within the framework of the Erasmus Program at the universities we have agreements with in Hungary, Lithuania and Poland. We aim to bring students and business life together by inviting well-known figures of the business world to our school every year. In this context, we have prepared the infrastructure to share the sectoral experiences of well-known businessmen with students. Our graduates can work in many departments of enterprises, especially in the import, export and logistics departments. In addition, there are opportunities to become public personnel with the Public Personnel Selection Examination (KPSS). First of all, students who will choose our department should improve their foreign language skills.. I can say that our university is extremely flawless in terms of infrastructure. I think that students will have no problems with our library, social facilities, gymnasiums and dormitories. There are both private and state dormitories for our students coming from outside Edirne. I can guarantee that they will have no problems with accommodation. In addition, there are also restaurants and cafes in our school.
