Business Administration

Hello dear students, I am İlknur Taştan Boz. I am a faculty member of the Department of Business Administration at Trakya University. My specialty is management and organization. As the Department of Business Administration, we aim to train our students to be able to carry out management and administrative work in national and international companies, as well as to manage various entrepreneurial processes. Our department is trying to improve our students by providing education in the fields such as Management and Organization, Production Management and Marketing, Accounting and Finance, Commercial Law, Numerical Methods, and Cooperatives in order to achieve the goals I have stated and to guide our students to the relevant career paths. In addition, our department is a member of an organization called AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), which accredits business schools. Our department has been carrying out various studies since 2019 in order to carry out accreditation studies with the institution I mentioned. When the process is completed, our department will provide important advantages to our students in the international sense. In our department, important courses are offered in the fields of management, production, finance, accounting and marketing. In our department, starting from the 3rd and 4th grades, our students can choose different non-departmental elective courses in order to improve their knowledge on other fields. In our department, there are computer laboratories that our students can use in various lessons, presentation classes with smart boards and meeting rooms with various reading rooms. Various overseas opportunities are provided to the students of our department within the scope of Erasmus and Mevlana exchange programs. Our students can apply to these programs as of the second semester. International conferences on ethics, corporate method and social responsibility are held every year in our department. When our students graduate, they can take on various positions in areas such as accounting, finance, human resources and management. I recommend our students who will choose our department to first develop themselves in digital competencies. In addition, I recommend them to take part in various organizations and actively participate in student societies. There is a wide range of dormitory opportunities for our students who come to our university from outside the city. We wish success to all students who will take the exam, and we welcome them to our department.
