Unmanned Vehicles and Autonomous Technologies Society

Hello, this is Beycan Aydın. I am a senior mechanical engineering student. I am also a founding member of Unmanned Vehicles and Autonomous Technologies Community (INARO). We established our community in 2019 with the aim of training qualified graduate engineers or at least contributing to this, and we set off on such a road. Here, we aim to create a know-how accumulation, to create a know-how (knowing the technique of the work) and to create a sustainable model by transferring it from generation to generation. Currently, we continue our work in the laboratories of the Electrical and Electronics and Mechanical Engineering departments, and our manufacturing workshops when needed. We carry out different, multidisciplinary projects under the consultancy of our professors. During the current period, we held various webinars (online trainings) and tried to bring together important names from the market, the industry, and the names we trust in terms of engineering experiences. We wanted our members to develop their ideas with the information from the sector and the knowledge coming from the kitchen of the business, which will prepare them for the opportunities and challenges they may face after graduation. Apart from this, our most critical, general and most important activity is to prepare for various Teknofest and TÜBİTAK competitions with more than nine technology teams and nearly eighty active researcher members. In these competitions, our members gain experience by actually being involved in the work, having roles and taking responsibilities in projects. This preparation process is at the forefront of our core activities. Engineers are more popular in our community because of their field of work. We think we are pioneers in terms of engineering students' self-improvement. Being in any community in your undergraduate life will add a lot to you in terms of human relations and business contacts. Apart from the competencies you can acquire in every community, I personally think that INARO can provide you with the very critical techniques and competencies that an engineer needs due to its specific working area and purpose. The competencies we aim to bring to our members are critical competencies such as project management, time management and team management, which I think will be useful for every engineer and will provide success in their professional life. Apart from this, the competencies that we aim to gain directly for our members are different competencies such as artificial intelligence, software knowledge, mechanical knowledge and electrical-electronic knowledge. As the INARO Group, our door is open to everyone who is devoted to the national technology move, who wants to work in national technologies and who want to develop these technologies. Long story short, if you choose Sakarya University of Applied Sciences, we welcome everyone who will share our motivation and determination. I wish success to all students who will take the exam and to all students who will choose Sakarya University of Applied Sciences.
